Dr. Butt received his Certification in Orthodontics from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Butt is a former faculty member and Lecturer of the Department of Advanced Graduate Orthodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Butt is a past Diplomate member of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Butt is passionate about clinical orthodontics and is committed to orthodontic education and is constantly seeking ways to create effective and efficient appliances and techniques in Orthodontics.
At the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Butt developed and implemented a new course where the postdoctoral orthodontic residents were instrumental in creating original orthodontic appliances or techniques. Dr. Butt is committed to providing oral health care and has been active in several local outreach programs to the underserved community.
Dr. Butt is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists, and Massachusetts Orthodontic Society.
